E Technologies Group, the parent company to four leading U.S. control system integration brands announces that Chief Commercial Officer Fred Fontaine will assume the role of Executive Vice President and General Manager of its West Chester, Ohio operations, continuing to position them for growth in turnkey industrial automation control system and integration solutions.
West Chester, OH – April 3, 2020 – E Technologies Group, Inc., one of the largest U.S. engineering & industrial automation control system integrators, today announced that Fred Fontaine will assume the role of Executive Vice President and General Manager of the company’s West Chester, Ohio operations. Mr. Fontaine will also have direct responsibility for two of the company’s other 14 U.S. offices, located in Akron, Ohio and Columbia, S.C. Mr. Fontaine will continue to report directly to the E Technologies Group CEO, Ralph Carter.
Over the past two years, E Technologies Group has expanded its geographic reach and subject matter expertise by uniting four leading U.S. industrial automation engineering companies, adding Glenmount Global Solutions, Superior Controls and Banks Integration Group. These acquisitions brought together top engineering resources with deep domain expertise in the Life Sciences, Mission Critical, Metals, Consumer Products, Food & Beverage, and Parcel industries.
In the role of EVP & GM, Mr. Fontaine will oversee day to day operations and will focus on building the engineering team and adding to the company’s project management capabilities. He will be responsible for the Consumer Products, Food & Beverage, Parcel & Fulfillment, and Advanced Software & IT Centers of Excellence. Mr. Fontaine will also continue with his Chief Commercial Officer duties for the E Technologies Group’s Commercial Excellence Program.

Fontaine formerly served as Chief Commercial Officer for E Technologies Group, responsible for creating the commercial excellence program, which focused on providing a positive and meaningful customer experience from first contact to project completion. Prior to this role, he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager for the East and Southwest Regions of Glenmount Global Solutions, an E Technologies Company. He began with the Glenmount Global Solutions brand in 2013 as the Vice President of Sales.
