Steve Veldhuis, CFO and Co-Founder


Steve has nearly 25 years of experience in controls engineering. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Cincinnati. In 1993 he co-founded Control Concepts and Design (renamed E-Technologies Group in 2000) with Doug Fagaly. Steve acts as Chief Financial Officer, directs the company’s technology efforts, and architects automation systems designs and new technology.

Doug has more than 30 years experience in automation systems integration. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of Cincinnati, has earned a distinguished alumnus award from the school and sits on their advisory board. In 1993 he co-founded Control Concepts and Design (renamed E-Technologies Group in 2000) with Steve Veldhuis. Doug serves as Chief Operations Officer and heads up E-Tech’s business development effort. Doug is a recognized expert in batch application and his work has been presented at the WorldBatch Forum, the Schneider Electric Conference on Industrial Communication, and at the Rockwell Automation Fair.

Greg Koutny, Machine Automation and Engineering Design

Greg has over 30 years experience in engineering, master planning and machine and process automation. He has worked in many industries including tooling, material handling, paper converting, packaging, plastics, and automotive manufacturing.  His clients have included companies such as Procter and Gamble, Cincinnati Milacron, Kellogg’s, Kroger, GTE Sylvania, General Electric, Honda and Ford, to name a few. Greg leads all aspects of the business development and technical execution of the machine automation and engineering design business unit at E-Technologies Group.

Nick Hasselbeck, Information Technology and System Architecture

Nick is E-Tech’s IT Solution Architect. He and his team are responsible for delivering technology and infrastructure solutions to a range of manufacturing IT, Fortune 500, and government clients. Prior to leading the current team, Nick worked in a number of engineering and operations roles, and earned a Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems from Mount St. Joseph University.

Our focus is not on keeping up with the industry, but to be the cutting-edge. That is what makes E-Tech an exciting place to work.

Stu heads up E-Tech’s Legal and Human Resources department, as well as E-Tech’s contractor services subsidiary company, E-Tech Services. He earned his Juris Doctor and Sports Law Certificate from Florida Coastal School of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management and Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College. Stu holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification, and is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the Ohio Bar Association. E-Tech benefits from his expertise in healthcare reform, insurance, employment law and employment discrimination.
