E Technologies Group is one of the largest engineering and system integration firms in the United States. With 14 offices and more than 380 engineers, we provide automation, control, and information solutions to the Life Sciences, Mission Critical, Metals, Parcel, and Consumer Products (including Food & Beverage) industries. In addition to our organic growth, E Technologies Group has recently grown through the successful acquisition and integration of Glenmount Global Solutions, Superior Controls, and Banks Integration. Our national scale allows us to help our clients develop and implement standardized solutions at any of their facilities regardless of physical location or the local resources available at that site. We have the capability to bring together large teams of diverse professionals to provide turnkey projects, as well as offer professional project and program management, procurement, panel builds, site and subcontractor supervision, installation and commissioning services, and more.
We chose to partner with the best-of-the-best system integrators with deep domain expertise in industries to complement our portfolio of domain expertise and geographic reach. Not only did we evaluate the capabilities and geographic coverage of the companies we partner with, we made sure the companies aligned with our values, passion, and commitment to our clients, our employees, and our partners.
Now, as one of the largest system integrators in the country, we pride ourselves on being as nimble as we were as a smaller company. Our promise to our customers is that we will always remain easy to do business with. You will receive the attention and focus of a small company with the resources and reach of a national company.
From staff augmentation or small upgrade projects to full turnkey design/build projects, E Technologies Group has the right people, expertise, and industry experience to deliver for you.
Understanding our customers’ industries and solving their most complex problems has been a focus since E Technologies’ inception in 1993, as Control Concepts & Design. The company was founded by Steve Veldhuis and Doug Fagaly to provide automation services including design and software to the consumer goods industry. We are proud to say that our very first customer, consumer products powerhouse Procter & Gamble, is still a valued customer today relying on our capabilities and automation expertise to help achieve their corporate goals.
As our customers’ needs changed, we changed. As technology evolved, we evolved. And because we were so much more than a simple “design” company for our customers, we changed our name to E Technologies in 2001 to be more representative of the breadth of services we provide. We continue to evolve our services and expertise to meet our customers’ needs as the technology curve accelerates.
We continued to grow our customer base in Consumer Products including Food and Beverage, and added additional industry segments, most notably large parcel companies such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL where performance and uptime is critical.
To fuel growth in capacity, geographic coverage, and vertical expertise, E Technologies partnered with Falfurrias Capital Partners (FCP), a Charlotte-based private equity firm. In January of 2018, we began implementing a strategic growth plan that brings unparalleled value to customers, employees, and shareholders. Today, our umbrella organization, E Technologies Group, Inc. is successfully executing that strategy.
In October of 2018, E Technologies Group, with the backing of FCP, acquired Glenmount Global Solutions, headquartered in Austin, Texas. Founded in 2010 when three well-known system integration firms joined forces, Glenmount’s roots come from over 25 years in providing solutions for their customers. The acquisition of Glenmount added a team focused on Mission Critical Building Management Systems, and having a deep domain expertise in Steel & Aluminum production and Consumer Products production. Additionally, Glenmount contributed two UL508 panel shops to the group and brought procurement, panel design, production, and testing in house, allowing us to maintain 100% control of our projects from start to finish.
In 2019, E Technologies Group, with the backing of FCP, added Superior Controls in Seabrook, NH and Banks Integration in Vacaville, CA to the family of brands. Together, Superior Controls and Banks Integration brought extensive experience in the Life Sciences industry, especially around emerging biotechnology and traditional pharmaceuticals. Like E Technologies, Superior Controls and Banks Integration had been growing their customer bases and deep knowledge of their industry since their inceptions. Superior Controls was founded in 1993 by Rick Pierro and Mark LaRoche, and Banks Integration was founded in 1994 by Greg Banks.
